Soft Skills in Design Education: Strategies to enhance teaching and learning

The research is focused on the teaching and learning processes of soft skills in design education and seeks to identify strategies for enhancing these processes. The focus of the work is Communication, Empathy and Teamworking skills.
Soft skills are transversal to different fields of study and have been identified as differentials for professionals in the 21st century. In the Design field, they are essential competencies for acting in the contemporary world and facing changes in the area.
The research has a mixed methodology, using quantitative and qualitative approaches and the Co-creation methodology to, together with students and teachers, create strategies that enhance learning in the Design teaching environment.
The objective is to create a framework of strategies with indications of practical activities that teachers can insert into Design Education.
